Indigo Shibori Paper Workshop


Using washi paper and silk, this workshop will explore the Japanese dyeing technique of Shibori to create unique patterned designs in paper with natural indigo pigments. Participants will learn the history of Shibori, a recipe for a natural indigo dye vat, and make several artworks including a Shibori silk scarf to take home.

Select from the session options above. Space is limited and spots fill up quickly. Advanced reservation strongly encouraged. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session. All materials will be provided. Families welcome. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
