Program Details

Jenny Thomas had a great love for the Dayton Art Institute, especially its signature events, Art Ball & Oktoberfest. She and her husband Bill were Oktoberfest volunteers for 14 years and served on the museum's Associate Board for three years, helping to plan both Art Ball and Oktoberfest. The photo of Bill & Jenny shown here was taken at Oktoberfest.

In 2021, Jenny lost her battle with bile duct cancer. In honor of Jenny and her love for the museum, as well as to raise awareness about bile duct cancer, Bill has created the Jenny Thomas Memorial Fund to benefit the DAI. All donations go directly to the Dayton Art Institute, to help support museum operations and enable the DAI to fulfill its mission of creating meaningful experiences with art that are available to all.
